Suzann F. Ditzel, M.S.W. has worked in the healthcare field, specializing in brain injury rehabilitation for 18 of her more than 27 years of experience as a clinician, case manager, and administrator.
As a CARF Program Surveyor, Suzann has traveled the country, providing consultation to a variety of organizations. She holds a B. A. degree in Theater Arts from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and a Masters in Social Work from Barry University in Florida.
In addition to her healthcare experience, Ms. Ditzel taught high school theater courses and was an Adjunct Professor for the University of Miami School of Medicine, teaching diversity and patient interviewing skills to first and second year medical students.
Ms. Ditzel’s specialty is program development to enhance cognitive growth and re-learning. She most recently developed a nine-skill area day program for persons with a variety of needs and abilities.
Also a little known fact is that Ms. Ditzel is one of those rare birds who actually enjoys developing policies and procedures to enhance the operations of an organization.
