Barbara Cogley BS, RN, CRRN has more than 30 years experience in rehabilitation including experience in administration, case management, staff supervision and education in the rehabilitation and skilled care arena. Her experience includes program development, customer service facilitation, team development, staff-patient education, utilization review, medical record review and policy and procedure development.
Ms. Cogley has been a Program Director and Patient Care Coordinator in a free standing Rehabilitation Hospital in Ohio, directing the Stroke and Head Injury programs. While in Pennsylvania, she also developed an Inpatient Rehabilitation Program within an acute hospital setting and served as the Nursing Home Administrator for the hospital’s skilled care center.
Ms. Cogley is currently and has been a CARF surveyor, conducting national CARF Accreditation surveys for many years. She remains involved in consulting and assisting facilities in preparation for CARF surveys, as well as in providing care management services.
Ms. Cogley has a BS in Professional Art, Health Care Administration and completed several graduate classes. Ms. Cogley is a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN) and a proud graduate of the West Penn School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, Pa. She serves as an active member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses on national, state and local levels.
Ms. Cogley focuses her efforts on providing consultation with understandable and functional strategies.
