data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Carolyn Walton, RN, BSN, MHA, CRRN, FACHE has more than 40 years\u2019 experience working in healthcare roles which include clinical, management, and administrative roles.\u00a0 These roles encompass inpatient, outpatient, adult and pediatric sites.\u00a0 She has been a surveyor for the Rehabilitation Commission (CARF) for more than 14 years conducting national and international CARF accreditation surveys of rehabilitation settings in various settings and specialty areas.\u00a0\u00a0 Carolyn also participated on the International Standards Committee in developing the CARF Cancer Rehabilitation Standards.<\/p><p>Ms. Walton earned a B.S.N degree from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwu.edu\/\">Illinois Wesleyan University<\/a> and a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Francis.\u00a0 She has been a Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN) for 35 years and has been a Fellow in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ache.org\/\">American College of Healthcare Executives<\/a> (FACHE) since 2017.\u00a0 Her professional career has included providing direction, leadership and coordination of rehabilitation programs and therapy services in various sites including acute adult inpatient, Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation services, outpatient specialty programs, a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF), a pain center, senior services, inpatient and outpatient wound care,\u00a0 inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, dialysis and infusion services.\u00a0 Her experience includes establishing and facilitating the accomplishment of strategic and operational goals within these sites\/programs that created an effective continuum of services and provided a superior level of care and efficiency.\u00a0 She enjoys collaborating with organizations to develop new programs along with progressing existing programs and teams to a higher level of performance.\u00a0<\/p><p>Carolyn values her large extended family, friends, and animals along with spending time traveling, reading, and
